  • What solutions does the robot provide?

  • Can the robots be used to host customers?

    Yes, our robot can be used to host customers using the greeting and escorting feature mode.

  • Where are the OrionStar robots currently operating?

    Our robots are offered and currently operating globally exposing across North America, South America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.

  • Is there any training provided to use the robots?

    Absolutely, our operation team will assist you with training and installation to ensure the robots are ready to go.

  • How long does installation take?

    The installation process depends on the size of your floor plan and how many robots you want to operate. For example, the minimum installation time of one robot is about 20-30 minutes for a 2,000 sq feet space with 20 tables and a home-base station. 


  • Do I need WiFi to operate OrionStar Robots?

    Our robots require WiFi to set up mapping, receive cloud-based analytics, and utilize voice interaction. Our robots can still perform their delivery tasks offline.


  • How do you charge the robots?

    Mini charges via Charging Dock



  • What is the battery life for the robots?

    Lucki, the average battery life is 12 ~ 15 hrs. It takes about 3.5 hrs to fully recharge. 

    Mini, the average battery life is 10 ~ 12 hrs. It takes about 3.5 hrs to fully recharge. 

    *actual operation duration of the robots will depend on usage 


  • Can I adjust the speed?

    Yes, it can be adjusted in the setting menu of our robot


  • Is the robot spill-proof/water resistant?

    Yes, our robot is spill-proof and water-resistant. Lucki has spill-proof and water-resistant tray mats installed. Both robots' IP rating is IP23. 


  • Can the robot serve drinks?

    Yes, Lucki has a “Soup delivery” feature to ensure your drink is delivered with minimum spillage. We recommend getting our cup holder tray accessory when carrying out multiple drinks to minimize any chances of spilling.


  • Can the robots be used outdoors?

    The robots are recommended to be used indoors and on flat surface areas. 


  • Can we customize the robot’s color?

    The robot's color can’t be changed. However, there are great alternative options using vinyl wrapping, stickers, and decals to customize and brand the robots. 


  • Can the robot handle slopes?

    The robot will operate normally as long as the slope is less than 5 degrees.


  • Is the robot API open source?

    Yes! The API on the robot is open source! You can create innovative and creative solutions for your business and easily integrate those solutions with our robots. 


  • What operating system do the robots use?

    The operating system the robot use is Android 9.
